The aim of this publication is to systematize the knowledge about the Pz.Kpfw tanks based on the latest research. IV Ausf. H and Ausf. J. During its creation, the literature on the subject in Polish, German and English was used. In order to visually present selected episodes from the front service of these vehicles, memoirs and other archival sources were also used. Dozens of photos that enrich the book, including many photos taken during the line service of both variants of the car, or shortly after its completion, come from the Archives of the Kagero Publishing House based in Lublin, Bundesarchiv-Militärarchiv in Freiburg, and private collections. The illustrative layer is also enriched by the mostly more widely unpublished photos of Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. J used by the soldiers of the 10th SS Panzer Division Frundsberg, found in April 2011 in Kluczewo near Stargard Szczeciński, currently undergoing extensive renovation under the supervision of specialists from the Polish Arms Museum in Kołobrzeg. The whole is complemented by three-dimensional visualizations of both the whole and the details of both vehicles.
